Short Biography

STANLEY LOH is a futurist and an executive with in-depth knowledge of technology, ESG, Deep Tech, and Payments. His business and high-level management experience were acquired while working for Oxford University Press, Esso, Tractors Malaysia, 3M and running his own electronics distribution, payments and communications companies in Canada.

Immersed in angel investing, his strengths lie in his ability to identify and conduct due diligence in game-changing technologies. Currently, he advises in ESG, digital and robotics, solar energy development, electric vehicle-development, movie production, streaming ventures in North America.

He is unafraid of big projects having quarterbacked rollout of products to 13,000 convenience stores in Canada and the USA. Currently his pet project is a 90,000 ha Afforestation, Reforestation and Food Security Project in South Sumatra.

Stanley’s ability to congeal ideas into meaningful and viable business cases in many industries is a boon to the organizations that seek his expertise. In addition, he is an experienced negotiator at a high level.

He is a founder of World Capacity Builders which serves as a conduit for technology companies in North America to penetrate Asian markets. He has the knowledge and connections to handle the intricacies of developing markets in Asia because he can manoeuvre in cross-cultural nuances of Asia.

In 2006, he was the International Team Leader for Asian Development Bank’s National Distance Education Network in Sri Lanka. Stanley also has close relationships with China Union Pay having been responsible for UnionPay’s initial introduction to the Canadian market some 25 years ago.
